We started on Saturday, August 2. By Sunday, August 10, we actually had the framing for all NEW walls and roof joists up!

08-15-08: Our progress has been slowed by scattered
showers. When the new roof arrives at Home Depot, we'll rent their
truck to bring the roof and all siding to the Lake.

08-24-08: We made tremendous progress this weekend! |
By Sunday afternoon, we had the roof on, soffet and fascia on both sides, and several wall sections. |
Jean and Joe did a lot of painting. We hope to finish ALL of the outside over Labor day weekend. |

09-06-08 Rain on Saturday, left over from Hurricane Hannah, slowed us down a wee bit ... so we worked in the rain! Sunday's weather was much better, but the day was too short, as we had to head back home. We will be all finished by the end of September! |
